Elena Fordham is a marketing communications and event specialist with 13+ years' experience creating strategic programs that build customer awareness, strengthen brand loyalty and drive revenue. Her most recent work includes driving the earned and paid media strategy for the retail offerings, programming and events at Toronto's iconic Union Station. She has also successfully led the PR launch of two new Canadian restaurant chain concepts known as Union Chicken and Amano Pasta and created influencer campaigns to amplify the brands via social media.
Beyond destination and hospitality, her portfolio boasts the marketing and PR launch of Schedule 1 bank, Wealth One Bank of Canada. Elena has also revitalized the websites and marketing campaigns for LD Human Resources and WendyDennis.com. Similarly, she has managed the social and digital strategy of dog outerwear brand, Hotel Doggy, which included launching the brand on Amazon.
Since launching Beveridge Marketing, Elena has created profitable customer demand for SMEs and startups spanning finance, tech, fashion, law and hospitality sectors both for consumer and B2B brands. She has also taught part-time at Yorkville University imparting her in-field experience to the next generation of marketing communications practitioners.
Shirin Ansari-Tadis is a strategic communications consultant leading the health care practice with Beveridge Marketing. She has over 12 years’ communication experience in the Ontario health care system. Shirin has led the development, implementation and evaluation of communications and stakeholder engagement strategies at University Health Network, the Central LHIN, Public Health Ontario and Cancer Care Ontario. She has also served in a consulting capacity for various health care organizations.
She has developed and executed communication strategies for executives and clinical leaders that include: communications plans for transformation initiatives; external communications including annual reports; business plans and videos; internal employee communications such as CEO/executive blogs; and, producing speeches and staff newsletters. Shirin is also adept at media relations and issues management including proactive strategies, press releases, articles and crisis communications. She is particularly skilled at creating stakeholder engagement initiatives that work to build consensus and are supported by a social media strategy.
