Elena Fordham is a marketing communications and event specialist with 15+ years' experience creating strategic programs that build customer awareness, strengthen brand loyalty and drive revenue. Her most recent work includes the formal launch of AI tech startup, Orbiseed and driving the marketing strategy and implementation for LD Human Resources. She also planned the earned and paid media strategy for the retail offerings, programming and events at Toronto's iconic Union Station and successfully led the PR launch of two Canadian restaurant chain concepts known as Union Chicken and Amano Pasta including influencer campaigns to amplify the brands via social media.
Elena's portfolio also boasts the marketing and PR launch of Schedule 1 bank, Wealth One Bank of Canada in 2016. Her clients look to her for branding and rebranding strategies and content marketing expertise.
Since launching Beveridge Marketing, Elena has created profitable customer demand for SMEs and startups spanning startups, tech, finance, HR, law, construction, destination and hospitality sectors both for consumer and B2B brands. She has also taught part-time at Yorkville University imparting her in-field experience to the next generation of marketing communications practitioners and volunteers in her spare time for mental health causes.
Katie Zeppieri is a marketing professional and social media influencer with her own podcast and 10.6K followers on Instagram! She has over 8 years’ experience developing strategic marketing, events, and public relations campaigns that amplify and elevate brands. Her portfolio of work includes producing the Ignite Showcase for the Spark Centre innovation incubator (in partnership with Ontario Tech University); creating the Light Up the Sky holiday campaign for the Oshawa Centre; and producing the Pink Shirt Day Concert at Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre. Most recently, Katie created influencer campaigns for the digital mental health startup, First Session, and coordinated on-site COVID-19 health & safety ambassadors for local businesses.
In addition to her marketing work, Katie is a social entrepreneur committed to empowering young women. In 2013, Katie created GIRL TALK Day—Canada's largest girl empowerment event—bringing together over 1,000 girls annually from across the GTA. She recently launched the GIRL TALK Speakers Bureau, which manages a roster of female leaders and influencers and connects them with opportunities to speak on stages across the globe. Katie is a graduate of the Radio & Television Arts program at Ryerson University.
